How to stay ahead of the game

1. Blog BLog BLOG! - umit articles anywhere you can. Other forums, Yahoo, your own blog (you DO have one...don't you?) and other peoples blogs.

2. Link Exchange. Find other sites from complimentary busiensses, and set up an arrangement to exhcange links. Quick and VERY effective.

3. Advertise in free places. Craigslist allows you to advertise your services for free. You can create nicely stylized HTML ads, and place them around the internet, all of which can link back to your site!!!

4. Add a "Tell A Friend" form on your website. This will allow people to easily forward information about you to others they know.

5. Submit to the search engines by hand. Each search engine allows you to add your site to thier search engine. Just visit Yahoo.com for example, and fill out a short form to have your site included. Make sure your site is well metatagged!

6. Give away a freebie. Our site id full of White Papers, information, and industry news that keeps interested parties coming back

7. Join a Social Network! Myspace, Linked in, Squidoo, etc., are all sites that allow you to join and network with people on a worldwide basis.

8. Subscribe! Set up a newsletter subscription for your customers, clients, friends, interested parties, and then USE YOUR EMAIL LIST. If you don't have an email list, then GET ONE STARTED NOW! and... don't forget to have the newsletter link back to your website!

9. Direct people! Niche directories are popping up all the time for your specific industry. Take a little time and do some rersaerch, then get your site submitted apporpriately.

10. Don't forget traditional forms of advertising media! You'd be surprised how many of our clients forget to put their domain name on their menus, bumper stickers, flyers, radio and TV ads... The general rule... If you show your phone number, show your domain name!

"Well, what do you know. A web tool that really works. I must admit I was a little sceptical at first, but within an hour of filling out a simple form at Vendor Selector I was in contact with an expert who understood my business model, took the time to listen, and of course got the job done right the first time. I whole-heartedly endorse this product."
